OK so I have 2 extra 16GB iPod Touch's.
I can take them back to the Apple store here in California or I can bring them to Japan and try and sell them on the street for a profit.

Do you think it would be easly to move the 2 units in Shibuya or possibily near the Apple store in Ginza when people are realizing things are sold out or possibily not even released yet? I can be in Ginza on Friday.

You think I could get 100, 000 for them? List is like 49,000.

Cheers,

Scho

Why not just put post them on a web auction site. Easier than hawking them outside the Apple store.

Well every hour that passes more and more of these hit the street in Tokyo and the "premium" drops. The online orders are apparently shipping already. Friday may actually be the first day of store sales in Japan I read somewhere. If not, very shortly after.

I'm curious as to what some of these actions have closed at by if yahoo auctions is like ebay you have to be a member to view completed items.

There is a MAC club in Japan called ringo (Apple in Japanese). You may want to post questions there.

Many people come to Japan thinking "heck, I can buy mellons in America for $1 and sell them in Japan for $200."

Backup plan: If life gives you mellons, make mellon juice. In this case it would be apple juice.

Smidgen can feed 6. However, remember to shave the fur off before grilling, otherwise he will taste funny.
