Yokohama
I spend quite a bit of time in Yoko, and it is always a pleasure to wander around and try different restuarants and bars. Some of my favorites are Kirin City, any of the Ishi Kaya (all you can eat for 2 hours) type places, a little Curry place on the B1 level near the Sheraton, A little 4 table Sushi place in that same area, (on the Diamond). Does anyone have any other "best kept" secrets on places to eat and drink?
(Forgive my spelling on any of the above)

There is a place in China Town which specialises in very spicy Ma-po Tofu. The restaurant is called Keitokuchin, near the Minatomirai station:

It's definately not a hidden secret though! It's quite a famous place but the food is really good!

OT, but I think Yokohama is one of the best locations for a date in the Tokyo metro area.
I mean, the perfect date itinerary is so obvious there--boat ride around the harbor, Ferris wheel at Minatomirai, good restaurants in crowded quarters in Chinatown (so you're forced to hold hands to keep from losing each other), good restaurants on top of the Landmark Tower (if your date is high-maintenance)... not to mention an excellent supply of high-end hotel rooms

Ah, joejones, shouldn't we be doing practice MBE questions?
Another non-secret (unless you're not paying a lot of attention) is the Ramen Museum - which is also a great place to take anyone who enjoys eating. You might not think of it as a secret, but it's a great place to show off to folks, especially when they're only in Japan for a short time. I took some friends here from Tokyo who were passing through on their way to China (they stayed for a day) and wanted to try a quick trip on the shinkansen (~$15), eat, shop, and then be back in Tokyo by nightfall.
