Narita Layovers
Been doing some research for my first trip to Japan next week, and I came across this website on NRT:

I apologize if it's old news to the regular readers of this board, but it looks like it has some great advice.

It's the standard authority, especially when combined with the official Narita airport website (available in English). I liked Mike Newman's website so much that I contributed some ideas to it, in fact, for which he is kind enough to give credit.

I spent one night in Narita on my trip to Japan last year. I found the Center Hotel Narita to be clean and almost brand new, and the room only cost 5,670 yen since I booked it on the Internet.

Nearby there were 2 grocery stores, several restaurants and convenience stores, a huge pharmacy, and a Book-Off (a huge second-hand book/music store where you can sometimes find CDs for 100 yen.) Actually, everything in Narita was nearby since it's a pretty small town.
