Shinbashi Dining Recommendations
I realize this might be oddly specific but I'm looking for dining recommendations close to Shinbashi station.
Decades ago I used to work near Uchisaiwaicho station and knew of a few go to places in the area but I haven't spent time in that area in ages and the places that I once knew are long gone.
Can anyone recommend an izakaya or kappo style restaurant in that area with moderate price and good food? Language / menu is not an issue.
Appreciate any leads...

I like Ippashi, a good izakaya with moderate pricing (plan on Y7,000 PP).

(Other favorites of mine in Shimbashi are Shimizu for sushi and Hirosaku for kaiseki, a great value at lunch)

If you are willing to wander just a bit further I can highly recommend this Izakaya. My wife and I eat there all the time -- the Karage is perfect, the fish is always super fresh, the pasta is amazing -- but the best part is the owner - Johnny. He and his family are there most nights and it's a very popular place with locals because the food quality is outstanding and the prices are very reasonable. Oh - and the Asahi is ice cold!

We ended up going with Ippashi due in part to its proximity to Shinbashi station.
Down the stairs and to a room in the back. They seemed pretty busy with most of the customers being around 20 - 30. The food was good and the service fairly quick. The folks in my party all seemed to enjoy.
Thanks for the recommendation!
Hopefully at some point I'll be able to try the other suggestions.
Thanks all for the input.
