Room plus Living Area
With suite upgrades currently challenging to get at western chains, what boutique properties in Tokyo offer a proper suite - e.g. a bedroom with a separate living area? The area is not terribly important - Ginza, Roppongi, Shinjuku,shiodome, etc are all fine.

Conrad suites fit the bill, and aren't super expensive. I don't think there is always a proper door between the rooms, however, if this is important to you. PH Park Suite is nice too.
