Beautiful cherry blossoms
My son made this short video of cherry blossoms at a park near our house. Enjoy.

I love Meguro and walking along the river during Sakura. We go late in the day to see it in light and stay around the area and walk back at night to see it illuminated and eat from the vendors.

That's a great spot for the cherry blossoms! I went there one morning in 2019 I think.
This year all the popular places seem to be really crowded, partly because this week is spring break for schools as well (unlike last year). I walked through the Expo Park in Osaka a few days ago and there were definitely more people than last year with sheets and small tents all over despite the signs telling people to not do that and avoid crowding.

Shukugawa (Hyogo, Nishinomiya) is not as busy as usual years, but still lots of people. On the other hand, there's nearly no one at night because there are no lights. In "normal" years they put out special lights to light up the trees and the place is packed with drinking parties.
My son hasn't made a video yet this time. If so, I'll post a link.
