Lunch in Hakodate

Can anyone recommend a nice restaurant for lunch in Hakodate, where we will be visiting in late September? We would place a premium on fresh seafood.

Many thanks!

I just popped into random sit-down places in the morning market that had decent amount of patrons. I thought every place was good.

On the other hand, I thought that food from stands (not sit-down place), such as crab legs and melon, was kind of overpriced and not as enjoyable.

I tried several of the sit-down places in the morning market and found them all good. I speak basic Japanese but those places are used to tourists and should welcome you. I am not an uni lover but the crab was to die for.

Thanks for tips, everyone. My wife is ethnic Japanese, and speaks a bit (but understands more). For those interested, I was able to find a menu: https://uu-hokkaido.com/img/sgs/uni-...rakami_web.pdf and also contact information: https://uu-hokkaido.com/corporate/uni-murakami.shtml

Any other expert recommendations for restaurants open for lunch?

Many thanks!
