Narita Terminal 1 departures, connecting between wings
My family is flying out of Narita in July. But while I'm flying Delta (Terminal 1, North wing), my wife and kids are flying Air Canada (Terminal 1, South wing). We'd like to hang out while waiting on our flights back to the U.S., but I'm not sure if the wings connect on the departure side, or whether we'd have to split up to go through security. Does anyone know? Thanks!

The north and south wings are connected on the air side.
Air Canada typically uses Sattelite 4 and Delta Sattelite 2.
IMO the more interesting place to hang out is on the 5th floor open roof observation deck on the land side.
