Time to Exit Haneda

I did a search and couldn't find anything, but please let me know if I missed it somewhere.

I'm arriving HND at 10:15pm (AA flight from JFK) on a Saturday. Will I have enough time to catch the 12:10am monorail into Tokyo? Seems that 1:55 should be fine (barring flight delays), but wanted to check.

Also, on my return, I was planning to stay a block or two from Hamamatsuchomo station, so I could take the 4:58a monorail in (flight is at 6:55a). This seems like a reasonable plan, yes? I assume the schedule online is fairly accurate?

Thanks!

1:55 to exit Haneda is way more than plenty, you'll be fine, probably end up taking a much earlier monorail. As for your departure, I don't think there is a 4:58 AM monorail, and if there is, is probably a local, don't bother with that one. There is an express at 5:11 AM which is plenty of time for the AA JFK flight at 6:55 AM.

Looking at the Tokyo Monorail site (http://www.tokyo-monorail.co.jp/engl...able/0110.html) it says there is an express at 4:58 and a local at 5:11. It also says effective October 2010. Is the website just out of date?

You are correct. I was actually thinking of the 5:18 express, which gets in right after the 5:11 local. The 5:18 should be fine.

Pickles calls it well. If you arrive on time, even with checked bags, I predict you will be on the monorail platform before 11:15pm, maybe even before 11pm. Haneda is a very efficient airport.

Flew into HND a couple weeks ago... took under 20 minutes to exit with checked bags. This was arriving at 7pm.

Thanks everyone! I'd heard that lines could be long right when all the intl flights started coming up, but sounds like this is no longer a problem!
