Cool Giants baseball

I'm looking to attend the home game on 8/31... is it like MLB in the U.S. where you can walk up and purchase a cheap outfield ticket before the game starts? Or should I try to purchase beforehand? Online? Thanks!

I'll also be spending the night at Haneda airport... what do you think is the cheapest way to get from the Tokyo Dome to Haneda airport after a game (I can leave the game early if need be). Time isn't a factor... my flight is 6:55 am the next morning.

It's the last day of school summer holiday, there should be more
people than (for example) next day.

Also, (although baseball is not dominant in spectator sports as it used be
20 years ago), it's Giants (like NY Yankees). If you want to be on the safer side
(as it won't be easy for you to try another date ?) better to purchase
the tickets in advance.

Take clockwise Toei Oedo line from Kasuga station near the Tokyo Dome. Get off at Daimon Station to change trains to Tokyo Monorail. Its terminal, Hamamatsucho is a minutes' walk from Daimon.

This may be half a dollar more expensive than the cheapest way, but it is the easiest.

Great! Thanks. Got the ticket online. How simple. Now... are there lockers anywhere in the area? Big enough for a small carry on size suitcase?

yes, there are lockers (but no size specifications).

it might be a good idea to leave your suitcase at another
station (convenient for going to haneda), as suidobashi station
would be very crowded before and after the game (or all day).
