Museum of Aeronautical Sciences NRT
I saw this site mentioned that there is now shuttle from NRT both terminals to the museum, it mentioned it has 4 daily departures to and from NRT, is that true ? I can't find any information in the museum's website. If yes, does anyone know the schedules ?

Museum of Aeronautical Sciences:
Airport Museum Shuttle buses depart from Narita Airport Terminal 1 (first floor, bus stop 30) and Terminal 2 (third floor, bus stop 2) for the museum. The trip takes 15-20 minutes, costs 200 yen and there are only four departures per day. Alternatively, a taxi ride from the airport costs about 1600 yen.

I don't understand does it say it only operates saturdays and holidays ? Or does it mean everyday including saturdays and holidays ?

There is also a service which leaves Narita Terminal 2 Bus Stop 13 at 09:49, 12:55, 14:55 and 16:16, passing close to the museum 14 mins later on its way to Yokoshiba-Ogata Beach (横芝屋形海岸). It will be a 10 mins walk from the nearest bus stop to the museum.

The Japanese version says on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays the bus terminates at the Aeronautical Museum (航空科学博物館). On other days the bus travels on to its final destination, AMB (Property Corporation) Minami-Sanrizuka (AMB南三里塚).

I am actually flying all F ORD-IAD-FRA-KIX, ITM-NRT-BKK-HKG, with an overnight stop in NRT, so that I am going to the museum before I get on TG 77W at 5:15pm

Took the bus at stop #30 at T1 arrival level all the way to the right when you are out of the terminal. I took the 11:35am bus (it costs 200yen each way), takes about 20 min, the bus stop right outside the museum. It is 500 yen to go in (you can get a discount voucher 100 yen off at museum shop at NRT T1 obseravation deck level) Though the open area with a few planes including a retired YS-11 is free of charge.
The museum is a little rundown unlike museum of flight in seattle or air & space museum in dc. First and second floor have indoor exhibits including a large scale 747-400 N401PW hanging from the ceiling. 3rd floor has a door lead to outside observation deck facing the cargo hold and runway 16R/34L. 4th floor has a cafe, 5th floor has an indoor 360 degrees observation deck, it also has a screen showing what time are the flights arriving. Due to I want to spend more time in NH F lounge (I was taking 5:15pm TG 77W in F), I took the bus back at 1:10pm also leaving right outside the terminal. Got back and wait for 15min or so that TG checkin counter open to checkin for my flight.
If I have more time, they also have a cut out nose section including the front wheel of an ex NW (SQ) 747-212 sitting next to the museum. It only open at certain times and I believe there is guided tour that require a fee to go up to see the cockpit and somthing else. It is their new exhibit, and it painted like N7470 (no.1 747 built) white color with red stripes and all the airlines stickers that ordered 747 at that time.

The bus is not day pass, it is cash only 200 yen each way from NRT T1 or T2. Not sure if you are talking about something else from Narita City.
