NRT Connection Time

I just booked a trip to NRT and BKK using UA miles. Transferred them to CO first due to lower mile requirement and better *A availability, thanks FT!

Going over I'm flying IAD-NRT, four day stopover in NRT, then NRT-BKK.

I'm a little concerned about the return trip. I'm flying BKK-NRT-EWR-IAD. I loathe EWR but have a 3 hr layover there so I will just have to take my chances. For NRT, I have exactly two hours of transfer time. Arrive 3:45 pm, depart 5:45. Is this enough time? Can I check a bag and still make the connection in time? Do I need to clear security or immigration?

2 hours is plenty for a connection within the same terminal. You will go through security. Not immigration. Don't try bringing liquids in your hand luggage (except in less than 100ml bottles in a baggie). Assuming your flight arrives on time, you will be able to visit the lounge or do some shopping.

Now ... could you point me to the best information regarding transfer of UA miles to CO?

Thank you! I will probably check a bag then.

The same flights I just booked were going for 110k miles on UA, but I snagged them for 65 ok CO.

http://www.continental.com/web/en-US/apps/onepass/transferMiles/betweenPrograms/signInHome.aspx will allow you to transfer miles back and forth. No minimum, no max, just need to make sure that your name and address on both accounts match exactly or it will not go through. For example, My CO account included my middle initial so it wouldn't work until o changed my information.
