NRT moving between terminals airside question
I was wondering if anyone had any first hand experience moving between the two terminals airside at NRT.
Do you need a boarding pass for an airline in either terminal to move between them?
For example, someone from Terminal 1 wants to go to Terminal 2 to meet a friend there airside (or vice versa)?

T1/T2 bus
It's been almost 2 years ago, but I think it was pretty informal. The buses are outside of security, travel public roads between T1 and T2, take about 10-15 minutes, are crowded, and have instructions in English. I don't remember anyone checking anything, you are on your own.

This discussion on Yahoo Answers says that you need a BP, and that the inter-terminal transfer buses can only be accessed from transit security, not from the regular departures area. Can't say how authoritative it is, but there you go.
