TMM1982, here is another review with photos (it's actually the one I was originally looking for).

From the review: "I was warmly greeted with a bow by no less than five hotel personnel as I made my way...down the hall, past the Girandole restaurant, through the library, and to the check-in area."

That is the peculiar thing about this hotel - you have to go a longish way upon arrival: up one elevator, past the restaurant, through a library area, to reach the check-in area and main elevators to the floors.

Drinks aren't priced too bad either.

Desserts are quite pricey though. Looks about $15 per? That's definitely on the high end.

It's Tokyo and one of the most famous hotel restaurants in the world . Desserts on the outside are just as good and cost less.
