SkyMark airlines...Anyone try ?

Has anyone flown budget carrier Skymark Airlines? I need to get to FUK from HND. They have the least expensive fare („9800) out of the others, JAL and ANA („12,100). I read some reviews but they are outdated.

I've taken it from Kobe to Haneda a couple of times I think last year.
Nothing really special, no drinks and a bit cramped perhaps but for a 2 hour flight, it should be bearable.

It is a popular LCC that operates a limited number of routes in Japan. HND-FUK is one of their biggest ones.

Many of my friends use SkyMark and say it is okay. They fly 737s. Personally, I always take ANA or JAL because their seats are more spacious as they usually fly 777s on that route.

You will be fine on SkyMark, but for just „2,000 more I think ANA or JAL would be nicer.

Thanks for the replies. I ended up booking JAL over the phone since SkyMark didn't have an English hotline. I had difficulty booking online with all carriers SkyMark/JAL/ANA and then once I got the errors sorted out, paying and obtaining the ticket in person in a short period of time was the next headache This is not an option for me since I'm in Canada. Kind of strange that's the booking process, why not go paperless?? This will be my first time on JAL and looking forward to it.

I know that *Alliance has the Japan Airpass deal. Figure OW would have that too. Book that through yr local travel agent. I used the *Alliance product once. Went HND-CTS-NRT and got Y class (full) miles. ^

I'm also making my first JL flight later this week, SFO-NRT. Looking forward to that too.
