Collect bags for overnight connection?

Collect bags for overnight connection?
Hi
Am flying BNE to FRA on JAL, ticket says first leg of my trip is BNE-FRA. but I fly BNE-SYD-HND on Friday and NRT-FRA on Saturday, approx. 17hrs between arriving and leaving Tokyo with an overnight connection and airport change.
Just wondering if my bags will automatically be checked through to FRA, or whether I collect them at HND and re-check them the following day at NRT, or whether I have a choice.
I can't find any info on the JAL website, so any guidance would be appreciated.
