Upgrade from P/E to Bus.

Hi, I currently have JAL flights LAX-NRT-SIN r/t booked in P/E (Booking Class E). Is it possible to upgrade these from P/E to BUS? If so how? I'm AA ExecPlat/Oneworld Emerald.

Using JMB miles is the only option.

Any opup, when they rarely are needed, will go to JAL elite members first. LAX NRT zero change of that I'd say, NRT SIN could happen depending on the departure and day of the week.

JAL will only upgrade with miles or when they are overbooked, there are no curtesy upgrades.

Don’t forget the cash option: fare differences plus penalty

Upgrade on JAL

Thanks for the responses. How many miles? Per leg or total for each direction?

30,000 miles LAX to NRT, 20,000 miles NRT to SIN.
