Now I just need JL to upgrade the menu on YVR then that will be another option for me. I just need a la carte menu instead of set menu for 2nd meal service

so there will be a new retrofitted SS8 config with only Y and C cabins. SEA route will be getting that. I guess YVR and SAN may also be getting this less premium config too.

Interesting, another 787 config. Are the Y seats being changed out to SkyWider ones, or just refurbing the C cabin?

It's confirmed to be SKY SUITE and SKY WIDER, at least for SEA. Probably same for YVR/SAN?

Seeing how KIX-LAX got the SSIII, it wouldn't surprise me if YVR and SAN follow suit.

SSIII might be a watered down version of reverse-herringbone but they're still a step up from the old seats IMHO.

You still have hope with SEA going real SS.

If the rumours mentioned for 156 Y and 38J are correct, it will need to be something more compact than the APEX suites.

can they just get rid of the galley between Y and PY cabin and move the lavatories to the original galley position? But then I am still not sure if that’s enough for the extra Y seats.

I prefer the Apex Suites to anything reverse-herringbone, but are the SSIII that bad? I was hoping to try them BKK-HND next year.

NRT-SAN is now showing up as SS8 (E12 Config - C30Y156) starting April 1st while NRT - YVR is still showing E03 (Shell Flat Neo).
