I guess they will keep handing out the old Prosche kits till they are out of stock. They must have too many piled up at LAX and JFK
Makes sense to use inventory. But I thought they might return provision kits out of Tokyo Apparently not.

Or they can send all the leftovers to SFO/LAX so other outports can switch to the new kits

I always see people left behind unopened kit...always tempted to ask if the senior CA if they can give that to me but I don't want to put her in a awkward situation so I never asked

My American colleague just takes them on the way out.... That is not quite my style though. We exited through door 1, so I did not have the chance on the way out anyway.

I wonder if they can ever consider to make the amenity kit look like a clutch, purse or even a long wallet so it can be used in other events.

I use a lot of the ones I get for organising cables, chargers, etc. to pack my carry on. I have an old AA first class kit that is a padded tablet sleeve And the latest LATAM one I got might also get some rotation.

But yeah, airlines might think a bit more about usage after the flight. Though JAL is not particularly worse than other airlines here.

JL9 from ORD 5/12 was the old Porsche kit. JL10 ex NRT 5/26 was the same.

What an an incredible experience though.

There is no real kit. It is a small pouch with sleeping mask, toothbrush, ear plugs, etc.

The kits discussed here are for mainland US and Europe only

I may be able to get my hands on the Porsche Kit depending on what they are handing out on my upcoming flight. I am a bit torn whether I want the old or new one but I am kind of leaning towards the Porsche kit at the moment

I might have a spare Porsche one somewhere at home. If you fail to get one. Let me know if I should check when I am home.
