JTA Oneworld Benefits
Hi all,
I am booking a flight from Okinawa to Osaka and there are options coming up for JAL and JTA. I am looking to book in Class J. Will I get any Oneworld Sapphire benefits on JTA or am I better to book with JAL?
thanks!

you get the normal stuff on ground. priority boarding, lounge, luggage
i dont remember if theres priority security and priority checkin, but u can use it if they exist.
they are pretty much the same but JAL may use wider bodies than JTA.

JTA operates 737s only. I guess that is the main difference as JAL is likely to be a 767 or bigger.
JTA is a fully owned subsidiary of JAL, and all Oneworld benefits available on domestic Japan flights apply.

actually for OKA-OSA, there’s a big difference. JL is flying to ITM and NU is flying to KIX. I know, not really have to do with elite benefits but that’s a big difference LOL

Slightly off topic.
JAC isn't a Oneworld partner.
However, you can use lounge.
I registered my BA FFP number to ITM-TJH. ITM lounge reader of boarding pass accepts my entrance.
And, priority boarding is granted. Yes, it is an aircraft with 36 passengers.
I realized JAC isn't a partner, when my BA accounts rejects ITM-TJH flights (Even BA Avios calculator shows ITM-TJH 18 Avios for N and Q).
So, even JAC behaves as a Oneworld partner in terms of lounge and prority boarding. why not JTA :-)

talking about which, you cant redeem the JTA flights with avios.
but benefit wise JL aknowledges your status and gives you everything as if you're a JL OW Sapphire member
