You can buy some, only JPY800 each. Does it have to be kept refrigerated?

I am fairly certain it needs refrigiration. Though not beyond the realm of posibilities to have it a Thermo bag for a flight back to the US. If you check it, the cargo hold is usually fairly cold as well, so should not be a problem.

Wonder if they sell them at the HK and Taiwan stores. So much easier to just buy from the HK store than carrying them back to HK for me. I wouldn't want to carry the pudding back to the US. Who knows what the custom officer will do to them

That could turn into a pretty expensive pudding (if you get fined) that you can't have will let OP try with the US custom first LOL

Im thinking of ordering Vegetarian Hindu meal in business class. Website won't let me do it online since it was booked as AA award ticket. Of course, JAL doesnt seem to have an active Twitter presence in English...guess I will have to get old-fashioned and call

Anyone have experience with their special meals? quantity/quality?
