HND Fast Track Security for OWE?

It's been awhile so I have forgotten if Oneworld Emeralds get access to the fast track security lines even though not flying in a Premium cabin?

Also, if it is the case, does one need to get a special pass from the check-in counter (we're connecting from NRT, so we'll already have BPs)?

If it matters, it is for an Int'l departure..

No, it's only for F passengers and JAL's own elites.

They definitely do allow it for people with status.

Ignore the fact it doesn't show AA. This picture was taken before AA had their HND-LAX route, but it has been updated to show AA since. You do need the physical card to get access though.

It's based on airlines you are flying. When flying JL, only those listed next to JL are eligible, i.e. Only JL F and its own top and mid tier elites.

It's really YMMV. Sometimes they'll let you in with any airline and sometimes only with status on the airline you're flying on.

The rule is only with the airline you are flying with. Therefore OP has no priority security access if everyone follows the rules.

I have only once been allowed in around the rules. And then not truly allowed in. The fast track. Flying QR business class as JL Diamond OWE, and I was rejected by the guardian of the fast track. Based on clearly on the rules. I spoke to the kind JAL ladies managing the QR check-in, and they escorted me through the crew lane. The wait looked really terrible in the standard queue.

So while there are exceptions, the standard expectation should be the airline's own elites only.

There's a thread that you even posted where many people said they went through fine using a different airline's status. It seems truly YMMV and not some special exception.

There is one person specifically mentioning that they succeeded with the card from a different airline than what they were flying. That's not really many. There has been other reports of this as well in other threads. But by and large the experience seems to be that it requires status on the airline you fly.

I am not saying it does not happen that people are allowed through, I do believe the reports, just saying don't expect it to happen.

Exactly!

FYI there are 2 posters not 1 There's a 3rd one who wasn't clear on whether he's flying CX when he used the priority lane with MPC status.

I would say 2 unclear, and 1 crystal clear. But then again, still not many.

Was flying KE but have SkyTeam status with DL, the person manning the entrance said I had to be flying on Delta to use the line when he saw my KE boarding pass.

I got through in no time in the regular queue so it was no major issue for me.

Narita had a true line for alliance members at Narita (not sure about OW, but ST). HND appears to have specific airline status from my experience.

So basically excludes access when flying codeshare?

Never had an issue being allowed through flying JL as OWE (more than ten times now).

Well you are AA CK, not regular OWE. JL has an agreement for enhanced service for CK holders. Not sure if that is the reason or not if you have no problems accessing the HND international terminal priority line.
