JAL Mileage Bank expiration policy.

Is there a way to prevent JAL Miles from expiring after 36 months?

I have searched both the forums and JAL, and although there is tons of information about other carriers, I can't seem to find an answer.

Thanks

Apart from achieving JGC Premier or Diamond status, no. As long as a member has emerald status, the points will not expire. But other than that, no options.

I have never seen that mentioned in connection with my JAL card.

The student card comes with this benefit as long as you are still enrolled

Also, the CLUB EST card will extend the validity to 60 months

To quote the good old movie Lethal Weapon... I am getting too old for this s..t

Interesting target group to set for this benefit. But building future loyalty is probably not a bad step.

O.K. If you are 55 years old or above, you may apply the following card for extending mile validity to 60 months.
(Accually, not extending. Miles earned before card joining expire in 36 months)

JAL G.G WAON Card.

And I am too young for that.... I guess conclusion is that for certain age brackets there are card options, under certain conditions, to extend point life time.
If OP falls in to the age buckets, there are options other than the JGC Premier and Diamond way.
