Through checking luggage to CX/KA
I'm considering a weekend in Seoul during my trip to Tokyo, if I book a flight on JAL back to HND on Sunday morning, can I ask in Seoul to get my baggage checked through to my HND-HKG-LHR-OSL trip with dragonair and Cathay leaving around 1am on Monday?

Is this on the same ticket? If not, JAL is not obligated to check the luggage through per the latest oneworld policy.

No, different tickets. The Seoul trip is something I consider adding on.
So I guess it's up to the agent if she wants to do it? Would be nice to just have my bags checked in and head into the city for the day.
