They can (and probably will) continue to operate it as an Emerald lounge. BA (who use JL as the contract lounge) also have a lot of Golds who are on the FRA route so it will still get a lot of use.

Not to mention the AA EXPs as well. But the issue is whether it worths operating its own lounge with only 1 daily super low density SS8 service.

And although super low density, the proportion of premium cabins on SS8 means there might not be such a drastic difference in terms of lounge-eligible passenger numbers.
I'd be quite surprised if they get rid of it.

With the other airlines using it, I'm guessing it will continue to pretty much pay for itself (or at least an acceptable overall cost to JL).

Flying JL 009 early next year in J and with a wide open J cabin, I'm trying to decide the best two seats for traveling with someone else. I took 5H,5K for now but since everything is open would be interested to hear whether there are any better seats in the J cabin or if the mini-cabin is the best place to be

which aisle to access seat 5E?
I am booked on SFO-HND and return in F (wife and I) and J (2 kids) next summer. I want the kids in row 5 so they are as close as possible to us in F. Currently only 5 D,E,G are available. On Seatguru it looks like 5E and 5G access the same aisle (right side) so I picked those for the kids and put my wife and I in F seats that use the right aisle (1G & 2K).
Does anyone know for sure whether 5E exits to the right aisle or the left?
