Can the moderator create the thread name and THEN DENY users from creating new threads but only allowing replies??

I looked at the documentation: http://www.infopop.com/products/ and it doesn't look like you can do this easily. You can cause posts to be placed in a moderation queue for approval if they contain a keyword. However I don't see any way to differentiate between a keyword in the subject and a keyword in the body of the text. I also couldn't find a "merge threads" command so the moderator would have some cut & paste to do.


How about a "Sticky Topic" ?

"Create a Featured Topic

A featured topic appears at the top of a forum�s topic listing, and remains at the top for as long as the admin or moderator desires. This function is sometimes also called �sticky topics,� and is useful when you wish to have a time-sensitive announcement appear in your forum, or to display permanent forum guidelines within the topic listing. A topic can be �featured� at any time, either when it is first created, or after it has already been posted".

Would be a nice feature for them to do in the future...
