1-week Italy itinerary
My wife and I are going to have 6 nights in Italy in September...wanted to get your thoughts on the itinerary I have planned. We are visiting a friend in Zurich, so we will be arriving in Italy by train from there.
2 nights at the Hotel Splendido in Portofino.
Train to Tuscany.
2 nights at l'Andana (near Grosseto).
Train to Rome.
2 nights at either the Hassler or Hotel de Russie.
I've read good reviews on both hotels in Rome, but I'm having trouble choosing one. Anybody been to or heard about l'Andana? Also, general thoughts on this itinerary? Anything you would change?
