Any problem getting out of MXP?

Pre-pandemic, we were caught in the line from hell trying to leave LIS for home and almost missed out plane. Any issue trying to head home through MXP or does it all go smoothly and quickly?
Edit - I see they offer a fast track service. Is it worth it?

Never had a problem departing via MXP due to airport (once a delayed flight on AA). IMO, Fast Track is worth it (not terribly expensive). Personally, we always stay at the Sheraton for an AM departure. Very easy to get up and just walk (covered) 1 minute and be in the airport.

It can get just a bit busy in the early morning and I've had a few touch and go moments there. But it should be ok.

Re: FAST TRACK- If you have an Amex Platinum, you should be able to access Fast Track Security with it for free, just quickly wave it at the attendants.

They had banners up by the fast track lane at FCO when we flew out in February. I wish I'd known, but I'd already paid in advance.

yes, Amex has been advertising this heavily in Italian Airports, some times right next to the FastTrack Lane (where you can even find self service machine to buy the service there and then). Italian T&C indicate that just cardholder should be allowed (and supplementary with his/her own card) but my experience is that they will allow a family (Catania was a bit stricter wanting to check both mine and the wife Platinum cards).

according to this article, there are other airports around the World that have similar FastTrack benefit for Platinum cardholders:

I usually just buy it on the Milano airport app a few days beforehand but I'll pass on that now.

You can prepay for fast track security for MXP airport? This is the case at GVA and it often has turned out to be a real help.

Ok, but not online on the normal website, presumably (I don't want any more apps, what I already have takes up far too much space in my phone).

Thanks very much, very useful to know for MXP airport.
OT, but after a bit of googling, they seem to not have it at Bologna (BLQ) airport. Will be leaving from BLQ in October with a companion on Air France. I will try and get check-in to put Sky Priority on the boarding pass of my companion (I am Platinum).

They don't sell it in Bologna but if you have lounge access you exit the lounge to a special security that is essentially fast track.

Aha....if security comes after the lounge, then I can take my companion with me! Isn't it quite rare nowadays that security is after the lounge?
