Senior Needs Advice on Mt. Vesuvius

I am a active and mobile Senior. But I have to take a rest break while walking or hiking. I would like to hike to the top of Mt. Vesuvius. Is there any form of motorized transportation available to get to the summit other than hiking. The others in my travel group have no problem in doing the hike. Thanks.

Unfortunately for you, there isn't! You can find additional info here.

It's not too rigorous a hike. If you can get a pair of trekking poles, it'd help.
