Covid testing in Florence

We're in Italy this week, and just arrived in Florence. We return to the US on Monday, so we need to get Covid tests on Friday or later.

I have reservations for rapid tests at the Florence airport tomorrow morning. I assume these tests meet the US requirements, but there was not enough information on the website for me to confirm. Has anyone used the rapid tests at the airport to return to the US?

As an alternative, I may just check with local pharmacies in town to see if they can test us tomorrow. I don't know if we need reservations, if they test on weekends, etc. Any information on pharmacy testing in Florence would be very helpful, as I can't seem to find information online.

Thank you.

Can't help on FLR testing, below are some links for pharmacies providing rapid testing ('tamponi'):

Links with booking systems (probably just in Italian)

Thank you.

I stopped into the below pharmacy and confirmed they can do the tests, and there was no line at all at about noon today.

Farmacia Reale Firenze Croci, Via del Proconsolo, 22r, 50122 Firenze FI, Italy

Did you confirm it will have a QR code?

Thanks!

Yes, they issue an EU compliant certificate with a QR code.
