FCO lost baggage question
Hi All,
I landed with AA connecting onto a BA codeshare on July 24th in FCO. my AA bag tag number tracked to confirm that the bags were unloaded in FCO as expected however they didn't arrive at the final airport even though they were tagged all the way through to ORY (via Vueling).
They are still listed as search ongoing on World tracer 1 week on from initial touchdown.
I've seen some older threads suggesting that people have had success visiting FCO's lost luggage department and picking up / finding their bags there. Any recommendations on doing this / success stories?
All advice is greatly appreciated!! 7 days into our European vacation with only clothes we've purchased is getting to us)
