Getting to Lucca in October
Is it easier to get to Lucca from Florence or Pisa, by train? Does anyone have experience taking the train from either of those locations in October? Is there an easier method....bus, driver or from a different city? Thank you!

The questions are:
Daytrip?
Lugguage?
From Florence it is a ride with the train of roundabout 80 - 105 min. Oneway for roundabout 7 - 9 . With the driver it would be more comfortable and also quicker on much higher costs. 100 + x at least. The bus as an alternative has normally a stop inside the walls while you have to walk a little bit more from the trainstation to get inside the walls.

Lucca is my favorite city in all of Italy because even though it has tourist, it is not overrun by too many tourist like Florence can be at times. I've never taken a train to Lucca, but it is relatively close to Pisa. I recommend renting bikes and riding on top of the wall whilr visiting, it was one of our favorite things my family does when visiting. You'll love Lucca! Make sure to visit.
