Milan brunch buffets

Any recommendations for Sunday (and saturday) brunch buffets in Milan? I understand both the Westin Palace and the Sheraton Diana Majestic serve good Sunday brunch buffets. Does anyone have a preference between the two? In particular, I'm looking for good vegetarian and dessert selections. Thanks!

The brunch at the Principe di Savoia (across the piazza from the Westin Palace) is truly wonderful. http://www.hotelprincipedisavoia.com/acanto-restaurant

Brunch consists of a huge selection from a buffet of lovely stuff, then food cooked to order and a great dessert buffet. And if you reserve you should be able to get a table with a view of the lovely outdoor area.

Euro 65.00 a persona, flute di champagne, spremute. those are euro, not zlota.

that's 85 bucks us . i think all high end starwoods are very expensive for brunch. (i consider $85 expensive for brunch) i,ve checked price in about 10 of them when i stayed in them, and gone out on the street and around the corner for morning coffee.

Apparently Westin Palace charges 40e, and Sheraton Diana Majestic charges 39e, albeit without drinks. I'll probably try one of these two.

that is an excellent price for a 5*L hotel in europe. most have blown past 50, and i see the danieli is 68.

I just had brunch at the Sheraton Diana Majestic and so can comment on that. The price indeed is 39e, but it doesn't include any drinks, not even water. They charge 7e for a bottle (75cl) of mineral water.

The selection is limited, but quality is pretty good. Cannot be compared to any of the fabulous buffets at Asian hotels, cannot even compared to the ones I've tried in the US or France, for example. For vegetarians, it's not great. There's only 1 hot vegetarian dish (not vegan). I love desserts, which was also limited. The panna cotta has gelatin and so is not vegetarian.

Service was OK, but utensils were not replaced or replenished. I certainly wouldn't return to this place.

Sorry to hear about this, but the experience at the Principe di Savoia might have been worth the difference in price.

i have starwood brunch i upscale format in i think 5 european city upscales(it is inclusive on many of the room rates). they are all(moscow was a bit different) very similar, and one would never know what city one to be in, and ceertainly not think one to be in europe. the waiters don't even have accents............

hope it's not too late: try this
Blues Canal (the website is horrible)

It's on the Navigli, one of the 'cool zones' in Milan (and beautiful to see when it's not crowded), doesn't cost much compared to all the places mentioned so far and there's plenty of stuff to eat. Obviously the place isn't as luxurious as Majestic or Diana, but you're supposed to be there for the food

Weekends only if I remember correctly.

Bit late to this, but I would have gone for the Westin as their Superfood line offers better options to a vegetarian
