VCE - Is lounge accessable on arrival?
I am usually not a big fan of arrival lounges.
However, we are going to have 3 different people arriving about 2 hrs apart in VCE. Are the lounges accessable upon arrival since that would be a nice place to meet up.

VCE Lounge
Yes, it is accessible. It's up on the second floor, on the secure side, so don't exit security. Now, if you have luggage to pick up, that could be a problem. It's not an AA lounge. It accepts people from several airlines, including AA. It's not a bad lounge for this relatively small airport

i have been in the lounge twice. it usually is not open at 6 or 7 am whenever our flight to muc,fra or lhr or wherever is leaving. the pastery/sandwich selection is very short.
we would be the only people in it. there is a very nice bar in the waiting room section of VCE. in the morning, there must be 20 uniformed police in it(all standing). coffee is half the price as venice proper. they have an outstanding selection of pasteries and sandwiches, again at half the price of venice. they do not charge for sitting at a table.
it is also pretty quiet and for some reason, feels very "italian", as opposed to just a fast food.
