Hotel Recommandation in Tuscany

My parents are going to spend 4 days in Tuscany before going to Florence for 3 days, and are looking for a good hotel. Dates are 8-12 May (in a short month).

Ideally with a pool in a picturesque setting, somewhere relaxing. I guess that's what you go to Tuscany for. A good restaurant on site would be awesome, but they'll have a rental car so it's not essential.

All recommendations are welcome! Within 2 hours of Florence preferable.

Thanks!

Badia A Coltibuono - old monastery now home to a winery, nice restaurant, and fabulous B&B with all the amenities you request.

We stayed here for three nights during my stay in Tuscany two years ago. It offers amazing views of Tuscany and is a centralized location for visits to wineries. The only speaks English and it's a traditional Tuscan village you're staying in. The rooms have a fantastic feel to them but provided modern amenities that not many other Tuscan retreats do.

Stay here and I guarantee you won't regret it...

Not this trip. Website says it's closed for renovations until the end of 2011.
