Cooking Schools
Hello
I would love any information you have on culinary schools in preferably Tuscany (or alternatively other regions of Italy) suitable for a mid-level or high-end vacation.
I am interested in both stand alone culinary schools (near accommodations) or schools where accommodation is provided.
Ideally the schools would have:
-intensive courses taught in one or two week periods for non-professional but seasoned home chefs (i.e., no semester/year long classes)
(ideally taught in english)
-mid-level to luxe accommodations are both acceptable (not interested in student or low budget stays)
I ran some searches but came up with nothing, but would love direction to threads if I missed them. Also, if I'm being way too particular ANY information on culinary schools in Italy (preferably for english speakers) would be MUCH appreciated.
Thanks all!

Bob Jr,
Check out Ecco La Cucina. I took a cooking class in the US with Gina Stipo. Last summer while in Tuscany, a group I was traveling with took a 1 day cooking class at the old mill. They run week long or less cooking classes. Gina is from the US but grew up in the Veneto area and was trained at a formal cooking school. She comes back to the states to visit family Nov thru April. She does a lot of cooking classes when she is back here.

You might look at this link - it's about cooking classes in Rome. You could email some of these folks for their Tuscany or school recommendations. There are a few "schools" located north of Rome.
