Exclamation SOS Schengen Visa stamp Help Needed

I'm an Indian National with valid Schengen visa. I reached Rome today through Helsinki. At Helsinki immigration point they stamped my visa. But after reaching Fiumicino, Rome there was no immigration check or stamping on my Schengen visa. Is it normal ? Or I have go to Fiumicino Airport to correct it?

Is the only Helsiniki stamp is required on my Schengen Visa ? Or my Schengen visa should be stamped each of the staying country we reach?

Yes. You receive a stamp upon your first entrance into the Schengen countries, you do not need to get one each time you cross a Schengen country border.

Welcome to Flyertalk (and to Europe)

Just think of Schengen as one country (it isn't - but it is for Immigration purposes).

Once you've entered Schengen there are no more checks. It's like travelling from one US state to another.

(Very occasionally there will be checks between Schengen countries - for example, when a Schengen country is hosting a political summit or a major sporting event. But usually once you're in Schengen that's it)
