New Ambassador card. Yay!

Grey(silver?) in colour, IC style.
(Though no mention of RA on it so far..)

When I go for the print on the web I get the RA-Plat after I confirmed 3 times with olegator's pictures that I have the right colour.
Why not have a Royal Ambassador on the card rather then just a different shade of colour.
Maybe it's an "enhancement" that IC hotels now only recordnise RA's by entering the number into their system rather than by flashing the card.

It looks horrible, why can't they keep the Royal word on it? This new desgin will make receiption staff work harder, without any reason.
When are we going to receive this new card? This is what they mean "Member recard" in our accounts in mid Jan. I guess they need to distribute it before our RA/Amb year ends, looking forward to another BOGO voucher if this happens.

Check the following scenario:
"Where is my upgrade and RA gift?"
"Sorry sir, you are not a RA member"
"I'm definitely RA, and RA for many years already"
"Sorry sir, but you don't have a RA card"
"Check your computer and system"
"Sorry sir, computer said no"
"If you look at that angle, you can see the difference from my card compare to the Amb card, ...yes, yes, keep going, ... towards the lights, yes, can you see it?"
"Sorry sir, there are 20 people behind you want to check in."
You will be ignored in that hotel forever. The card is our only evidence (unless you print out a copy of reservation every time) as RA, if that Royal word gone, what can you do when the system went wrong?

I have never had any issue with my Royal Ambassador status coming up in the hotel information tbh.
Perhaps by monday when the new scheme starts, the online cards will be updated to include the word Royal
Even so, there is no real relevence to the Gold/Platinum PC side when staying at an IC anyway is there?
The new cards look pretty decent to me
