Nope, you are right

this rate has almost gone!

just rare availability on weekends in some places - thats it. (Yes, I know two hotels where it's available on weekdays - but before there was more than 40 hotels where I've used it in the past years)

Thumbs down Sad lack of availability

Live in South of England and often stayed M6 corridor Friday/Saturday night on my journey North.....Just tried and even my bankers are not showing any 2 for 1 availability....Gutted....Would expect to go 20 or more weekends a year....but now priced out

Remember that Friends and Family rates are still available, not 241 but still better than normal.

FF rates are 15% off whereas Prepaid-A is 35% off , as both are non-qual nights, i never usee FF rates.

I liked various Greenroom 241's as both nights counted as qualifying , unlike 35% of Prepaid-A, and FF rates.
5day advance rule, and lack of midweek, read Thu/Fri or Sun/Mon 241's has killed this summer's long weekend breaks.

I used to have many 3night long weekends in UK, often booking late midweek for the coming weekend, which change is worst for me, as now needs 5day advance minimum.
I tended to use 2 consecutive 241 deals, allowing me a really early checkin as prev night booked, and/or really late checkout as 4th night still to come.

eg Both Thu/Fri 241 + Sat/Sun 241 night bookings allowed me to checkin 8am Friday, checkout 8pm Sunday
Now I book Fri/Sat 241 + Sun Prepaid-A, but no early checkin/checkouts anymore this way
(Plus counts as only 2 qual nights instead of 4 )

has it ever been confirmed if you use this rate if you get credit to your PC account ?

For example do you get your weekend stay bonus if you use this rate

Grateful for any insight, thinking particularly of a July stay I want at CP Heathrow

All my greenroom link booked CP-LHR 241's all posted as 2x qual nights in 2012, 2013 as recently as April 2013, so you should be all right.

If nights qualify, then w/end bonus should too.

Thank you a really excellent summation of the best use of these rates - I will be missing them especially at the IC Warsaw

The last time I used the 35% off rate, at HI Madrid, it posted as qualifying so YMMV on this one.

2-for-1's for me always have posted as qualifying, although some properties took much longer than others.

For those that have had 2for1s post - do they post as 2x qualifying nights or just 1x (the first night)?

Hoping to use this rate and still get a Saturday stay credit for the Big Win ^

From my experience, the HIX Bath and the HI Brighton did not post at all. I managed to get one night for the HIX Bath, but nothing the HI Brighton. A rude manager even responded like "no points, that's it. finished".

I read somewhere the Indigo Glasgow would not give any, so I assume this rule applies to all the Glasgow IHG properties, I have personally stopped using this rate for these properties.

Don't put up with this. Please call or email Priority Club. I prefer calling, but I think there's an online form you can complete and return to claim credit for stays.

They will credit your account.
