Is that right? only 2000 points for IC in Europe no matter how much you spend in the hotel?

Yes, plus any bonus points from promotions or PC/Ambassador status

kunk00,

It is correct that everywhere in the world, bar the good old US of A, you only get 2,000 points per stay. Be it 1 or 10 nights in an IC hotel.

A change recently in the earnings at US IC properties now reflects $ spend, and, at the time, it was discussed that they would consider this for the rest of the IC portfolio around the world, but, as of yet, no change has been made.

I will close this thread.

Please follow the discussion about the eraning structure of IC in the thread mentioned bys Nicolas75.

For the current situation, i.e. no change in the earning structure outside in "the rest of the world", there is nothing new to justify a second thread to this topic.

I will consider a merge with the above mentioned thread though.
