Somehow I got renewed with only 4 stays at 2 different ICs. Did have a lot of paid nights at other brands though. 130 or thereabouts. Maybe they are being more lenient on the IC stays if you are way above the cutoff on total night?

Successful 2010 RA requalification - some feedback
I have received my new RA card, valid until Aug 2011, after requalifying in June. Just wanted to share some information with you to help fellow FTer figuring out their chances or (re)qualifying.
Had a total of 59 nights in PC properties in the past 12 month period
Have stayed in 15 different IC's, with a total of 28 nights, on 3 different continents
Have used points for 2 award stays in IC's

I also have the "Royal Ambassador Renewal" in my activity statement, but when I go to "print member card" option, the card only says Ambassador and not Royal Ambassador. Is it supposed to be like this? Or was I downgraded to just Ambassador?

If you have "Royal Ambassador Renewal" in your account activity, you have been renewed as an RA, don't worry. You should receive your kit in as few as 2-3 weeks, depending on the location of your residence.

That is the temporary card. The colour should show as a platinum-gray. the temporary cards no longer state Royal Ambassador. Only the plastic cards have the designation on them and they are black-gray in colour.

Now see RA Renewal showing on account Jul 3. RA year is Sept - July. Just crossed 50 nights YTD. Full detail though

RA Renewal
I was granted RA status in Nov. of 2009... Before that, I was AMB for 2 years...My RA year was to expire on Sept. 30th 2010.... on July 3rd ,2010 RA status renewed online until Sept. 30th 2011.
62 paid stays since 8/1/09... 30 nights in 2010
30+ nights spread out at 11 different IC's , balance at CP , HI , & HIE
Additional 8 award night stays , I don't know if they count for anything.
Generally I have been very happy with this program , and have recieved good upgrades.

Your RA renewal is determined based on your qualifying nights during the 12 months prior to the date they review your account (June 1st for an August 31st expiration date).

Woohoo I dont travel and stay in hotels that much so dont think I'll ever be a RA but it sounds real cool with all the advantages.

I've been AMB since 8th April, from the "stay 3 get free AMB" promotion, and have 41 nights (including 6 IC stays) since Jan 1st, but only 15 nights and 3 IC stays since becoming AMB.
So I was VERY surprised when I logged into my PC account this morning to see I'm now RA!!
