new link to new Ambassador website

Since when has there been a link on your home page for your PC Rewards site to the Ambassador portal beside your status , not sure if this has been discussed yet but benefits are now upgrade at checkin for RA's and BOGOs cannot be used for suites as far as I can see on that website in terms of changes!

Have they gotten rid of the welcome gift?

Fruit and water are there, but it used to be fruit, water, and gift.

EDIT: Never mind--it's still there on the FAQ.

Re: BOGO
*Your certificate entitles you to complimentary accommodation for the second night when you spend a minimum two-night weekend stay at any InterContinental Hotels & Resorts property. Valid for 12 months and not applicable for suites.
- So now valid for 12 months instead of 6(ish), yet no longer for suites.

(Un)fortunately I never book suites although often end up in them - assuming this doesn't apply if you've been upgraded.

Just going through testimonials . . . .

How they got invitation to post their testimonials and not others???? I had opportunity to see PAID programs at some channels in my side of the world (for reducing weight, hair removal, whitening cream etc. . .), it appears some same type of guy has given his SERVICES . . .

POSITIVE THINKING
Good thing for me is . . . . there are people who can write worse testimonials than me . . .this is one of the NEW tailor made ambassador benefit for me. . . . . . .

Just visited HOME page of NEW website....

My next reservation (as per website) is on JAN-29-2009.... and I have to go and stay at IC Riyadh on that day....

BUT thanks to the link with this NEXT reservation (that goes to old PC site)...I may not be required to stay on 29th Jan-09 at Riyadh (coz no reference of that reservation over there)

I have used the voucher for reservations in suites before (and plan to use one more in this way this year) - this is not what I consider an improvement of the program! All changes that surfaced this week are quite bad - first the IC Paris dropping club access and now this.
