New Ambassador: Can I use my voucher at the new Indigo in Chicago?

New Ambassador: Can I use my voucher at the new Indigo in Chicago?
This is my first post, so forgive my confusion.
I am a new Ambasaador (signed up last week thru UA miles promotion.) I will be making my first run of it at the IC Barclay in May.
My wedding anniversary is the next month (June) and we would like to spend the weekend in Chicago. Supposeduly the new Indigo is opening on the 15th, just in time for an arrival on the 17th.
Can I use my certificate for the Indigo? Does my new status even apply there? It seems to be their new chain, and I don't know much about it.

To make it easier to understand what status applies to what:
Ambassador status and Ambassador benefits applies to Intercontinental Hotels.
With Ambassador status, you get Gold status and Gold benefits at all others, including HI, HI-Ex's and so on.
