Wiki was copied from 2018 thread
Created WIKI Mar2017 purely to add the "new" IHG PB List URL as I can't find by screen navigation since IHG changed the reservation screens etc, and the old url if saved no longer works either.

Just got fed up trying to find , much easier to store in wiki, hope this helps others

Pointbeaks changed the amount of points needed: This is discussed in this thread: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/intercontinental-hotels-ihg-rewards-club-intercontinental-ambassador/1890423-point-breaks-now-5k-10-15k.html

This thread is about the discussion about the locations and the actual list, please use the thread above for discussions about the increased number of points needed for pointbreak redemptions.

SCUBACCR

Use this URL for "Live" PB Listing:
https://www.ihg.com/rewardsclub/content/us/en/redeem-rewards/pointbreaks.html

The PREVIEW list usually appears on IHG's blog first

I don't know about that... there were some quite good properties on the last list, such as the CP in Oporto, and it went fast. If they can throw a couple of decent properties into the mix every time, then I think Pointbreaks has a future.

Given that the current PointsBreak list expires on August 31, trotting out the new list on or about August 26 is not particularly "soon"; it's pretty much SOP with PointsBreak lists.

The bloggers may have more specific information -- including, perhaps, a few of the properties on the new list -- by this weekend. Stay tuned.

I thought there was a short lag between the expiration of the old list and the beginning of the new one. Thanks.

So what will this edition of Pointbreaks take us up to? The end of October? Or maybe the end of November?

So it going to run parallel to the next Accelerate offer, in a sense, although that has turned out to be an immense wet fart for most people by the looks of it. They've certainly taken the fun out of it this time.

I never saw a point break that lasted four months. Usually two or three months.

Nope if still goes as 3 months v 2months, ie the new extended length started 1yr or so ago, then 1st Sep - 30th Nov for stays (though in reality only up until late on Mon 25th Nov for booking, as that is when next List for Dec-Feb supercedes)

Wow.....Friday afternoon and no blogger previews.....

I am only hoping for one totally random HIX in IL to be on there as I have a 28-night stay for work coming up there and would LOVE to use points!

Has there been cases in the past of PointBreaks not posting the last Monday of the month?
Someone used to maintain (and share) an history of all past dates, but I can't find it anymore.
Thanks in advance.

Pointbreaks certainly don't generate the same excitement that they used to. I will be interested to see what rolls out of the tin on Monday. Hopefully a reasonable European selection.
