From what I had read, front desks at IHG properties reserve the right to ask for a company ID at check in. How can I bypass this to complete my task?

Weird, I'm in virtually the exact same boat. My tasks are exactly the same as yours (both last quarter and this quarter, except I have to do 3 different HIX's to your 2, and I got a point+cash task added instead of an app.

FWIW, I completed this quarter a couple weeks ago, and my guess is I'll complete this quarter with the exact same HIX's

I'm sure many people have stays crossing over new years. In these cases, do past experiences or promotion terms point to us getting credit?

It's almost a no brainer to do a mattress run for me

1) 3k - Book & stay once
2) 10k - Stay 5 nights
3) 3k - Book using cash&points
4) 1.5k - Book using IHG card

22.5k - 3/4 completion bonus
1k - Jan bonus

I can find a $80(with tax) hotel to capture #1+#4+jan (5.5k)
Redeem a 5k+$40 night (category 1 10k) to get #3+bonus (25.5k)

total = earn 31k (plus $80*15points = 1.2k minus 5k redeem), which means I'm spending $120 to get 27k points, or 0.46 cents per point

I clicked the link, and am forced to agree to the promo terms before I can see my offers. Anyone else have this happen? Or is that first screen not the actual registration page?

I am an RA and there is no way to renew my Ambassador Membership. :confused:

I use a corporate rate several times a year for work trips and have never been asked for ID. You'd be very lucky if this occurred IMO.

Yes. Last year I stayed at IC Tokyo over the new year and the promo credited both quarters (Dec 31 for one and Jan 1 for the next). I did have to call the Ambassador help desk however to trigger my Jan 1 stay which hadn't shown up on my dashboard.

They rarely, if ever ask. If you're really worried, Vista print is your friend...

The current promo is pretty easy for me with only 19 nights to get 38,000. But this one wants 40 nights for 80K. Either way it's 2000 points per night, but 40 is a lot!

My interesting bonus this quarter is: Big City Bonus

Silly question... one stay can complete multiple offers, correct? Mine is really basic and I can complete 3 of 4, getting the achievement bonus, with one night:

Book and stay once: 5000 points
Stay more, earn more (5 nights): 10,000 points
Earn more, faster (book bonus points package stay): 3600 points
Use IHG card: 1500 points

Complete 3 of 4: 19,900 points

For the stay I'm looking at in February (IC Hanoi), the bonus points package rate is obviously higher (but not too much) than the standard rate. Figured it'd be worth it since I'd get the achievement bonus.

I would like to know this as well. Many of my offers have this in their terms. I need a pre-flight stay in Narita and the Crown Plaza is cheap...but I don't want to worry about booking it 4 days before I need to stay, while I'm already on vacation.
