Good Price FRA-JFK?
FRA–JFK, 24–29 Oct 2026, Singapore Airlines, direct flights, €550 round trip incl. checked bag.
Outbound 08:35, return 21:15.
Is this considered a good price for that period, or should I wait? Any experiences with this route?

Yes should wait for a sale (e.g. BF later this month) or to book much closer to depature. Late Oct is shoulder season for US travel so no hurry to book IMO.
That being said 550 EUR is not unreasonable or expensive and any sale fares will not be much lower than that.

The lowest you usually find is 400 EUR for this route. 550 is not bad, but not a screaming deal either. I'd buy it when it gets to 450

OP is searching for a five day trip. Many fares have minimum stay requirements of seven or ten days. If OP has flexibility, try some different dates.

Considering it's during the midterm school holidays in Germany, and a direct flight on SQ, i would say it's a pretty good price.

Can you please post these fares? I am not seeing 7 day min stay SQ fares in the FRA-NYC market
.

You should wait at least wait until all relevant carriers have opened up flight schedules for those dates. DL for example will not be showing flights for those dates for another 2-3 weeks. That said, I agree with others that you could benefit from waiting but the savings is unlikely to be large.
