Where to Credit Miles
About Me:
United MP Gold Member. Have a FF account with Delta but no status and don't fly often.
Situation:
Taking a flight from NBO-JNB sold by South African Airways but operated on Kenya Airways Metal.
Question:
Is it possible to credit this to my United MP account (Star Alliance) or am I safer just crediting it to my Delta (Skyteam) Account.

With out of alliance code shares and crediting to a 3rd frequent flyer program freq flyer earnings are problematic. Need to carefully check the ffp rules. Not unusual to be only get earnings in the operating ffp or marketing ffp, if they have specific rules. When all 3 in the same alliance tends to be less problematic.
