Delete and Re-Post?
Before I posted a message I thought long and hard about where to post it because it wasn't clear to me the proper forum. Now that I have posted it, there has been no response. But if, after, say, a week there is still radio silence, is it possible (i.e., within the rules) to delete the original post and try again elsewhere. FWIW, the post is here: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/afri...l#post35003876 (I hope it isn't against the rules to reference a post within another post.)

As you'll now know, your post has been moved to a more useful forum, and has been replied to, so hopefully that allays your fears.
Cross-posting isn't something we allow because we prefer the information to be in one, logical, place so other members can access it for future reference. Moving posts to more appropriate places allows us to do that, negating the need for re-posting.
