Remind me why usernames changed? (Re archives?)

Question Remind me why usernames changed? (Re archives?)
Hi, I was more active 15-20 years ago as RLymburner and now it appears I’m his overweight and elder twin named RLymburner2. Did a change of servers or something else force the change? Any way to associate the two usernames together?

You can send a Private Message to SanDiego1K and ask to have the names merged together.
