Barbados - AA or Jetblue/Code Share
So I'm turning 40 next February, and I'm a pretty avid kiteboarder/surfer, and I've been wanting to go to Barbados, just because it has everything. Good kiting with waves, good surfing if the wind is off, and well, rum. The problem is I have half a million Skymiles and DL has pulled out of Barbados.
I originally thought about flying to SXM, staying a few days and jumping over, but that's as much as a Jetblue or AA flight would be from my home (CHS). Any thoughts/methods to transfer or code share or something to get to Barbados? From here, it's basically AA and Jetblue.
I'm also going to try and hop over to St. Vincent while I'm there. If I can find a somewhat inexpensive flight from another island, I'd do that, but most of them are $400 and up, which again, I could just fly to Barbados for that.
